Posting verification and metrics
How posts are verified after approval, what can make verification fail, and how results are tracked.
Updated November 4, 2026
Payment is released when the post is verified. Verification confirms that the approved video was really posted, from the right account, with disclosure.
Submitting the link
After approval, post the video on TikTok from the account you were hired with. Then paste the link in the order’s Posting panel. Accepted formats:
https://www.tiktok.com/@handle/video/1234567890https://www.tiktok.com/@handle/photo/1234567890- Short links from
vm.tiktok.comorvt.tiktok.com
You can replace the link until the post is verified.
What we check
| Check | Fails when |
|---|---|
| The post exists | The link does not resolve to a post. |
| Author | The post is not from the account on the order. |
| Timing | The post was published before the draft was approved. |
| Disclosure | The brief requires disclosure, and the post has neither TikTok’s paid-partnership label nor an accepted ad label in the caption. |
Verification runs right after you submit the link. If our data service is briefly unavailable, it is retried automatically every few hours. Either side can press Check now (limited to a few times per hour).
If verification fails, the reasons are listed in the panel. Fix the post (for example, add #ad to the caption) or submit the correct link, then check again.
Brand confirmation
If the post is live but automatic verification cannot complete, the brand can choose I confirm it’s live. This counts as verification. If a post stays unverified for 3 days, both sides are notified.
Metrics
After verification, views, likes, comments, shares and saves are captured, then refreshed on day 1, 3, 7, 14 and 30. Both sides see the snapshots on the order. Brands also see a roll-up per brief: total views, engagement rate, total fees and cost per thousand views.
Ratings
Once the post is verified, each side can rate the other once (1 to 5 stars, optional tags and a comment). Ratings, completed orders and on-time delivery appear on the creator’s profile and count toward matching.
