Payments, deposits, escrow and payouts

All amounts are settled in USD. The money ledger is separate from AI credits.

For brands

Deposits. Add funds from Wallet. During the pilot, deposits are made by bank transfer: the app shows the receiving account and a reference code (CM-XXXXXXXX). Upload your transfer receipt; our operations team confirms the amount received and credits your wallet. The minimum deposit is $10. If the amount received differs from what you entered, the confirmed amount is used and a note explains why.

Escrow. When you hire a creator for a paid collaboration, the fee (plus any brand service fee, currently 0%) moves from your available balance into escrow for that order. If your balance is too low, hiring is blocked and the shortfall is shown. The fee terms are fixed on the order at that moment.

Release. When the post is verified, the escrowed fee is released to the creator, minus the platform commission (12% by default).

Refunds. Refunds return to your wallet’s available balance. Withdrawing a brand balance back to a bank account is not available yet; contact support if you need it.

For creators

Pending. When the post is verified, your payout (the fee minus commission) appears as pending. After the hold period (7 days) it becomes available.

Payout methods. Add up to 10 methods in Wallet:

• PayPal (email)
• Wise (email)
• Bank transfer: account holder, bank name, country, currency, and an IBAN or local account number (SWIFT and routing code where needed)

Payout details are stored encrypted, and only masked versions are shown afterwards.

Withdrawals. Choose an amount and a method. The minimum is $10, the withdrawal fee is currently $0, and you cannot withdraw more than your available balance. During the pilot, withdrawals are paid out manually by our operations team, who mark them as paid with a reference. If a withdrawal is rejected, the amount returns to your available balance.

Collaborations without escrow

• Gifted collaborations have no fee and no escrow.
• In fixed fee + commission deals, only the fixed fee is held. The affiliate commission is paid through TikTok Shop.

Cancellations

Situation	What happens
Cancelled before any draft is submitted	Full refund to the brand, including any service fee.
Draft overdue and cancelled by the brand	Full refund to the brand.
Mutual cancellation after a draft	The agreed amount goes to the creator (minus commission); the rest is refunded.
Dispute	Escrow is frozen until an operator decides. See Disputes.

Every movement is recorded in your wallet’s activity list, with the order it belongs to and the balance after it.
